7 months old!

I can't believe my baby girl is 7 months old! She's on the downward spiral to being a toddler. Ack!

Eating is messy business!

Evie's becoming quite a foodie! She has eaten (to date): apples, pears, oat cereal, rice cereal, peas, prunes, carrots, avocados, sweet potatoes, and butternut squash. She likes everything except the apples and pears. I spent this afternoon cooking and pureeing organic frozen veggies and fruits for her.

Here are a couple short videos of Evelyn eating prunes and oat cereal today. I LOVE how she opens her mouth and dives at the food now! Also, she's grabbing the spoon and bringing the food to her...but then doesn't let go! Lunch & dinner are very messy affairs. :-)

BIG news at the Keyser house...

we bought a new vacuum!! Whoo-hoo! I know, it's pathetic to be this excited, but our old vacuum was purchased in 2002 and was BARELY suctioning dust off the floor. Our new toy is a Hoover T1 WindTunnel bag-less upright. It has a rinse-able HEPA filter, so no buying extra refills. Eric vacuumed the living room and filled the canister! Pretty gross, actually. But now the carpet is all fluffy and the house is truly clean....for once.

Ok, onto pictures of the cutie!

I'm a sucker for baby girls in floral headbands.

Ready for spring!

Frankie is watching Evelyn play with her Learn n Groove table.

That's Evelyn and her monkepotomus, Joe. There's a big debate over whether it's a monkey or a hippo, so we'll go with the mad scientist explanation.

Surprised Evie!

Excited Evie!

Bass Lake Brewery

For Yule this year, Kelly, Jean & Fritz, and I bought Eric & Brian a deluxe beer making kit. The guys started their first beer, a Scottish ale, 3 weeks ago and we're now just waiting for carbonation to complete. On Super Bowl Sunday, they started their second beer, a peace coffee oatmeal stout. I'm not sure if the pics below are in true order of the brewing process, but you'll get the idea.

Bottling the Scottish ale, their first batch.

I helped stir!

The proud brewers.

Carefully adding something.

Some pouring action for your viewing pleasure.

Eric being scientific.

Adding the yeast.

And now we wait for fermentation.

Oh, and the guys have been throwing around ideas to name their brewery. I like "Bass Lake Brewery", as the Keyser Family cabin is located on Big Bass Lake.

Super Bowl XLV!!

GREEN BAY PACKERS ARE THE SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS!!
THE LOMBARDI TROPHY IS COMING HOME!

We spent the day at Aunty Kelly & Big Guy (Uncle Brian)'s house. Lots of good food (mini corn dogs, taco dip, onion rings, sliders, s'mores brownies), good beer (leinie's), and a GREAT game!

Kelly & Evelyn show off their fashionable side by both wearing rainbow striped socks.
Evie's hat says. "My First Packers Cap". Here she is looking pretty gangsta.

Awww, smiling and looking cute...as always.

More Playin' Part 2

(For some reason I can't post more than a few videos per post, so I had to break these up into multiple posts. Sorry!)

A Whole Bunch of Playin'!

Not the most exciting post, but here are a bunch of videos of Evie playing in her exersaucer. So cute!

Evelyn's Getting Pretty Good!
