Captain Chaos Keeps Us Busy!

Sorry for the week long delay in a new post, but Evie's keeping us on our toes! She has gotten into absolutely EVERYTHING! We now have a gate in the breezeway so that she won't get into the cat litter. There is packing tape on the stereo so she won't pull out the CDs. Shelves have been rearranged in the kitchen to make them baby safe. The crib mattress has been lowered because she now wakes up and immediately crawls around. So cute, but so busy!

Also, Evie took quite a tumble the other day! My girlfriend Kristy and her daughter Lila joined us at the tulip garden in Greendale Village. While taking photos of the girls, Evie fell off the ledge they were sitting on into the mulch. Poor baby bawled for 5 minutes...then forgot it ever happened! I had a heart attack and felt so bad, especially since her right eye looks like she was in a fight with a puma. But, it's been a few days and she's fine and healing perfectly. My tough, little cookie!

Evie had a GREAT time playing with the balloon my mom bought me for Mother's Day. She also bought me a beautiful flower arrangement. Thanks, Mommy!
